On Friday November 3rd WeedBar LA presents its first ever fine dining experience: Elevated Shabbat. Join us for an unforgettable evening featuring four courses of gourmet Jewish food paired with the finest strains cultivated by Canndescent, the premier ultra-premium brand.  Expand your mind and learn how Mary Jane can be incorporated into the Shabbat ritual—from product demonstrations to infused Challah.

Cocktails and a special performance by Dana Williams whose music has been featured in the Oscar winning films Whiplash and LaLa Land, will be followed by a Shabbat dinner unlike anything you’ve experienced before.

Prepared by Chef Holden Jagger (Zagat’s 30 under 30) of Altered Plates, and formally, of the SOHO House. Each course will be paired with the perfect strain to complement the complex flavor profile of the dish. Chef Holden will personally lead a tasting of each course that will educate and enlighten.

Please note: Cocktail hour begins at 6:30PM. Guests must arrive by 8PM. Dinner begins at 8:30PM!

FAQ

Q: Is there a Dress Code?

A: No. While this is a fine dining experience, we want you to be as comfortable as possible.

Q: How do I get there?

A: The safety of our guests is paramount, so we recommend you take a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft to and from our events.

Q: Is all the food infused? Do I have to get high?

A: No and no. How much, if any, cannabis to consume is completely up to you. If you would like to attend simply for educational purposes and/or good Jewish food, you are more than welcome.

Q: Is it okay that I’m not Jewish?

A: Absolutely, welcome all faiths! While Shabbat is a Jewish tradition, it is mainly about reflecting on the past week over fine food and good company.
